Dear Little Falcons!

We are so excited to have you here at Cascade Heights this year! As you enjoy your summer and prepare for kindergarten, here is some information you need:

Morning Schedule:

Kindergarten doors open to children at 7:45 a.m. each morning. Children are to be in their seats ready to learn no later than 8:00 a.m. Please make sure you allow time for traffic, car line unloading, walking to class and putting away backpacks and coats. We don't want anyone to miss 8:00 a.m. in Kindergarten! Dismissal will be at 12:00 NOON this year to allow for a little more teaching time for Miss Pruneda.

Kindy Encore:

We are very happy to announce our brand new Kindy Encore Program! Miss Pruneda, our licensed and terrific, amazing, kindergarten teacher, will be offering an afternoon "Encore" program. The program will include time for healthy lunch (provided by your family), outdoor play time, service learning projects on campus, RIGGS review, stories, drama, games, art and music--all centered around Kindergarten Core Knowledge Curriculum. This program will be open to all kindergarteners and run from NOON until 3:30 p.m. each school day.

• Cost for Kindy Encore will be $200 per month for four days per week and $100 per month for two days per week.
• Fees are due the beginning of each month on the 1st (10% late fee after the 7th of the month).
• Fees are due monthly
• Enrollment is a pre-agreement for participation for the nine month school year.
• Families may enroll for all 4 days, or the option would be 2 days at half the rate. Drop in rates will not be available, however enrollment later in the year will be an option.
• Children should bring their lunch in accordance with the school policy for all other grades.
• Families with siblings in the same class receive a discount of 10% for the 2nd child enrolled.
• Families with financial need and qualifying through the district forms may apply for scholarship assistance.
• Families who would like to pre pay the 9 month contracts by October 1st receive a 5% discount on cost.
• Withdrawal from Kindy Encore requires a 15 day notice
