I am very happy to announce our new PE teacher: Mrs. Jackson has 5 years of experience and a passion for physical education. She originally joined our team as a substitute and fell in love with our school and students. She has expertise teaching in the classroom, teaching PE, and coaching high school soccer. Her passion and enthusiasm for teaching are infectious and we're seeing that result in fun and engagement in the gym!

Mrs. Jackson earned her Bachelor's Degree in kinesiology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and then went on to earn her Master's in Teaching from George Fox University where she also received her teaching endorsement in Physical Education. She is a mother of three boys, passionate about the outdoors, and is currently an active runner who has run several Hood to Coast events and a soccer player for a local adult soccer team!

A message from Mrs. Jackson:
As a teacher, I want to create an atmosphere where kids enjoy and appreciate physical activity. My ultimate goal for our students will be to transfer fitness skills learned in class into their everyday lives. My aim is to teach the value of health and fitness and the immediate and life-long benefits it provides.
