The MISSION of Cascade Heights Public Charter School
(voted "Oregon Charter School of the Year 2009" by the Northwest Center for Educational Options) is to educate the whole child, giving
children a solid academic foundation, teaching children to think, stretching them to grow, partnering with
parents who share the same vision of educating children.

Lottery Informational Meeting!! This School Information Meeting for potential families will take place on
Saturday, February 20, 2010 @ 10:00 A.M. in the Kindergarten room.
This meeting is for new families who have entered applications for enrollment. It will explain the lottery process.
The lottery drawing for our 2010-2011 Kindergarten
class will be Friday, March 5th @ 1 P.M. in the Kindergarten room.
Placement letters will be mailed out on March 8. Those chosen will have until March 26 to accept or it will be assumed they have declined.

We are excited to welcome top 40 recording artist, songwriter, producer Geoff
Byrd to our campus! He will be teaching an elective class called "The Songwriting
Academy." This class is geared to students 4th grade and up. To sign up or see
