She recommended removing the window coverings on all classroom windows, per current safety guidance. After her visit, I contacted the I Love You Guys Foundation, and they no longer recommend coverings. We then invited risk management from the North Clackamas School District to visit, and they strongly recommended the same thing. As of today, most of the window coverings have been removed, and we are working on the more stubborn ones currently. Some of our kids found this change very fascinating, others barely noticed. We are constantly monitoring health and safety guidelines with the most current information in an effort to keep everyone safe!
